  • Plan and develop procedures for optomechanical assembly and alignment.
  • Perform high-precision optical alignment and integration, including bonding.
  • Support system-level V&V and radiometric calibration with systems engineers.
  • Support subsystem/instrument testing (vibration, TVAC, thermal stress).
  • Contribute to best practices and tools to improve instrument development.
  • Collaborate with subsystem engineers, instrument and spacecraft teams, AI&T, and partners.

🎯 Requirements

  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in an engineering field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of system integration of complex optomechanical systems in cleanrooms.
  • Experience with precision optical/metrology equipment (interferometers, EO/IR collimators, laser trackers).
  • Experience with data analysis (Python) and test report generation.
  • Root cause analysis experience including data analysis and testing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills.
