Instructure is looking for a high-performing Sales Leader to lead the Business & Government Sales team in the North America. Reporting to the Managing Director of Sales, Business & Government, you will work with sales reps to identify, qualify and capture new and expansion sales opportunities to retire quarterly and annual targets. You will have a solid understanding of Canvas learning platforms and products, and be able to create and manage business for a large region. Developing Sales Reps, working cross-functionally within the organization and building regional strategy are key aspects of this role.
This position can be worked remotely anywhere in the continental U.S. or SLC office.
What you will do: Collaborate with senior leadership to define sales strategy and lead high impact initiatives to fuel new growth areas.Lead in establishing the strategic and tactical plans required to identify, qualify, and capture new sales opportunities.Mentor and develop a skilled and dedicated sales team of generalists and upsell specialistsDevelop and manage a robust sales pipeline necessary to deliver against budget and quota responsibilities.Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.Day to day sales team management including recruitment, training, motivation, support, development and evaluation.Lead efforts to improve work processes and build customer partnerships to meet or exceed customer expectations and increase loyalty.Coordinate with teams across our organization to create focus and drive results. Compensation On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role are $260,000 – $280,000 annually. Actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, market conditions, and individual performance against sales goals. This is a 50/50 split with uncapped commissions.
