Instructional Designer - Video and Digital Learning

📋 Description

• Collaborate with SMEs to analyze training needs and translate content into learning experiences.
• Design and develop video-based and blended learning content, including microlearning.
• Create and edit instructional videos using Camtasia or Premiere Pro.
• Develop eLearning with Articulate Storyline, Rise, and PowerPoint.
• Localize training content for specific geographic regions.
• Apply adult learning theory, ID best practices, and assessments.
• Design course docs and assets (lesson plans, objectives, guides, materials).
• Evaluate and iterate content based on learner feedback and data.
• Balance quality, scalability, and deadlines across projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or equivalent.
• 3+ years in instructional design with digital and video learning.
• Experience creating instructional videos and multimedia content.
• Hands-on with Camtasia, Storyline, Rise, and PowerPoint.
• Experience writing scripts and storyboards for video and eLearning.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Translate technical or legal information into learner-focused content.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (2-3 days per quarter).
• Master's degree in Instructional Design or Learning Sciences.
• Experience supporting public safety or regulated industries.
• Experience localizing training for regions or jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with LMS and data-driven content iteration.
• Experience developing multi-modal learning solutions (video, eLearning, job aids).
