About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer on the Platform team, you’ll focus on building experiences for our retail partners for our Connected stores team. Focusing on self-serve tooling for FoodStorm, Caper products and Inventory Intelligence, in this role you’ll explore and prototype different ways to create intuitive self-serve experiences for retailers to configure and operate their business and understand their business performance. You’ll partner with other designers, user research, and cross-functional partners to evolve our retailer self-serve tooling experiences to increase customer engagement with personalized and differentiated experiences. Your creativity and design craft will be at the forefront, helping untangle complex problems and systems to deliver simple, polished, and delightful products for our retailers.

Note: This role is remote for PT time zone, since this person will need to collaborate with stakeholders in Australia.

About the Team

The Connected Stores team empowers retailers to enhance their in-store customer shopping experience. Our vision is to transform the in-store experience, bringing the convenience and personalization users love about online delivery into the store. This is a key strategic area for the company, offering exciting opportunities to develop innovative, 0-to-1 products.

About You

Minimum qualifications

  • You have 5+ years of experience in digital product design, with a proven track record of working across both mobile and web platforms
  • Demonstrated success in enhancing business metrics through the delivery of clear, effective, and user-centered design solutions
  • Exceptional communication skills, excelling in cross-functional collaboration to address and solve complex challenges
  • Expertise in visual design, with a keen attention to detail and a solid grasp of WCAG accessibility standards
  • Highly adaptable, with experience in reprioritizing projects and strategies to meet the evolving needs of the business
  • Proficient in maintaining comprehensive design documentation, ensuring smooth collaboration in both synchronous and asynchronous remote work environments
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your problem solving skills, a high level of craft and quality exemplifying a high caliber of design; you MUST provide a link to your portfolio (and password if applicable) to be considered for this role

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working on B2B tools and enterprise software
  • Experience with in-store technology such as store associate tooling, restaurant associate tooling
  • Experience designing for data and analytics
