Infusion Coordinator

📋 Description

• Manage end-to-end infusion order processing.
• Handle intake, chart review, and documentation.
• Verify insurance eligibility and authorizations.
• Schedule infusion appointments and coordinate drug orders.
• Communicate order status to patients and providers.
• Enroll patients in copay assistance programs.
• Educate patients on pre/post-infusion expectations.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, patient contact.
• 1+ year scheduling and insurance verification; ICD-10/CPT knowledge; infusion a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation review.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in fast-paced setting.
• Critical thinking and decisive judgment.
