Information Systems Security Officer/Manager - Level 2

📋 Description

• Develop SSPs and IAVMs per RMF, DoDI, and NIST 800-53 Rev 4.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and audits using ACAS and STIG.
• Conduct risk assessments for networks, firewalls, and encryption.
• Prepare security documentation; support avionics and PIT accreditation.
• Monitor for incidents and manage security controls.
• Train junior ISSOs and admins; liaison with the Authorizing Official.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in information systems security (with degree).
• 6+ years in information systems security (no degree required).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in InfoSec, System Admin, or related field.
• DoD 8570 certs required.
• RMF processes experience.
• Windows and Linux proficiency.
