Information Security Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Promote and enforce information security practices (acceptable use, malware protection, password security).
• Identify, assess, and report security risks across confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted; ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance.
• Integrate data protection across the information lifecycle.
• Member of Gen Re Security team to oversee proactive defenses and response capabilities.
• Collaborate with Security and IT leads to improve detection logic, runbooks, and automation.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency with SIEM, EDR, and Infrastructure as a Service.
• 5+ years of IT Security and Security Operations experience.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with IT security controls, protocols, and best practices.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Experience developing AI governance frameworks and monitoring AI tools for compliance.
