Information Assurance Specialist - III (Information Security Analyst)

📋 Description

• Assess, implement, and validate cybersecurity controls per NIST SP 800-53, CSF, and DoD guidance.
• Support SA&A by evaluating controls, identifying risks, and recommending mitigations.
• Develop and maintain A&A documentation to support system accreditation.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with owners, engineers, and security teams to implement controls and maintain posture.
• Support continuous monitoring: risk assessment, control validation, remediation, and reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Must meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT III/IAM II requirements.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in network operations and information security.
• Experience assessing security controls based on cybersecurity principles (NIST SP 800-53, CSF).
• In-depth understanding of NIST Security Controls and Control Implementation for SA&A.
