📋 Description

  • Prepare and review multi-state income and franchise tax returns.
  • Assist with SALT consulting engagements, including research and deliverables.
  • Conduct technical research on state and local tax matters and summarize findings.
  • Support nexus determinations, apportionment, credits, and planning.
  • Collaborate with engagement teams to ensure timely delivery and client service.
  • Provide guidance to Associates and review portions of their work.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or related field.
  • Active CPA license or pursuing certification.
  • 4+ years of public accounting experience with exposure to state and local tax.
  • Experience preparing multi-state tax returns for corporations and pass-through entities.
  • Familiarity with state tax research and compliance processes.
  • Proficiency in tax software (CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office.
