  • Review multi-state income and franchise tax returns for corporations and passthrough entities.
  • Lead SALT consulting engagements from planning to delivery.
  • Research state tax issues; prepare technical memoranda and communicate positions.
  • Advise on filing positions, apportionment, nexus, credits, and planning.
  • Respond to notices from state tax authorities; assist audits and controversy matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships with high-quality service.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or Master's in Accounting.
  • Active CPA license.
  • 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience with focus on state and local tax.
  • Strong background in multi-state income and franchise tax compliance and consulting.
  • Experience with state tax research and planning.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office Suite.
