📋 Description

  • Plan, manage, review state and local tax compliance and consulting engagements.
  • Lead SALT engagements from planning to delivery.
  • Provide technical SALT expertise; manage client relationships; mentor staff.
  • Advise on filing positions, apportionment, nexus, credits, and planning opportunities.
  • Respond to state tax notices; assist audits and voluntary disclosure matters.
  • Develop strong client relationships and support business development.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
  • Active CPA license required.
  • 5+ years public accounting experience with a focus on SALT.
  • Strong background in multi-state income and franchise tax compliance and consulting.
  • Proficiency in tax software (CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience supervising and reviewing tax professionals; ability to manage multiple engagements.
