Incident Response Manager - Product & Engineering

📋 Description

• Build the incident response function; establish processes and standards to handle incidents at scale
• Serve as on-call incident commander, coordinating across stakeholders during incidents
• Engage the right people at the right time with urgency, guiding fast-moving situations
• Own incident communications end-to-end: internal coordination, status pages, and customer updates
• Participate in blameless post-incident reviews to drive remediations
• Partner with engineering to develop scalable incident policies and escalation frameworks

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in incident management with technical product or infra incidents
• Built or shaped an incident response program at a high-growth startup
• Strong ownership; act independently with urgency under pressure
• Comfortable operating when guidance is incomplete or conflicting
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, security, legal, comms, GTM, execs
• Blameless, learning-oriented mindset for systemic improvement
