Your Role at Impact:

Fintech, a group within Impact.com, is a fast-growing team of talented engineers that provides innovative financial technology solutions to partners and brands. As a Front-end Engineer, you will join the Fintech team and play a key role in engineering the user interface and user experience of our financial platform, which is one of the most important areas in our product.

What You'll Do:
  • Design and develop user-facing features using modern front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue.js)
  • Create and maintain front-end micro UIs that make up the platform
  • Work closely with the front-end enablement guild to ensure alignment
  • Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, responsive, and interactive user interfaces
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Write and maintain technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot and debug web applications
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior front-end engineers
What You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in front-end development
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScriptframeworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js)
  • Experience with front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Grunt
  • Experience with CSS pre-processors such as Sass or Less
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience with browser compatibility and cross-browser development
  • Experience with accessibility and web standards
  • Experience with responsive web design and mobile optimization
  • Experience with web performance optimization
  • Strong understanding of web accessibility standards and principles
