Your Impact:

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that generate an increasing flow of qualified pipeline and fuel both short term and long term growth. You will be accountable for global demand generation and ABM strategies, and for orchestrating the execution of digital, account-based, field marketing programs, and strategic partner marketing programs to achieve the pipeline goals. Pipeline creation will be your ultimate measure of success.

This role reports directly to the CMO and collaborates with product and solutions marketing, brand and corporate communications functions to help drive the next stage of our ambitious growth and transformation.

The VP of Growth Marketing will:

  • Lead and Evolve Growth Strategy Own and scale Illumio’s Growth Marketing strategy across enterprise and self-serve channels, driving demand through both product-led and enterprise GTM motions.

  • Pipeline & Demand Generation Build the engine to grow demand across Enterprise and Commercial segments using a full-funnel approach. Capture and convert buyer intent signals through digital advertising, paid search, content, and social channels.

  • Customer Journey & Lifecycle Marketing Partner with Sales and Product Marketing to deliver targeted programs across the customer journey, including acquisition, activation, engagement, expansion, and cross-sell initiatives.

  • Team Leadership & Experimentation Build and lead a high-performing team across Digital, Field & Partner Marketing, and Marketing Operations focused on performance, lifecycle, and experimentation. Identify and test new growth opportunities including campaigns, and product features.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Align closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and regional field leadership to ensure marketing efforts support business objectives and adapt to market dynamics.

  • Analytics & Optimization Utilize analytics platforms to monitor performance, evaluate ROI, and optimize strategies globally and regionally. Forecast, measure, and report on the impact of demand creation activities on pipeline, revenue, and sales cycle length.

  • PLG & Community Activation Drive exponential scale and velocity of Illumio’s latest product through product-led growth and community engagement.

Your Toolkit:

  • 10+ years in marketing, with strong experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, and enterprise GTM.

  • Proven success scaling both enterprise and high-velocity acquisition funnels.

  • Growth mindset with hands-on experience in PLG models, experimentation, and funnel optimization.

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and use insights to optimize marketing campaigns.

  • Ability to develop and implement long-term growth strategies, aligning them with overall business goals.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, across a global and x-functional org. This includes Field and Partner teams.

  • Obsession with user journeys, conversion, and crafting high-impact growth loops.
