We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as a Global Sourcing Intern, remotely.

COMPENSATION:

$20 per hour

ROLE COMMITMENTS

Procurement Document Management: Updating Policy, Manuals, and SOP(Standard Operation Procedure)
Data Management: Cost database cleansing, MSA & NDA filing/updating
Should Costing: Use existing should cost tools to investigate cost breakdowns forassemblies of components; Improve or define new should cost tools foralternative manufacturing methods

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop knowledge of roles and functions within the Corporate Procurement,Operations and other cross-functional teams.
Graph Benchmarking of our key commodities to understand ideal competitivenesslevel and opportunities to improve.
Analyze data and assist in developing strategies to optimize inventorymanagement, order processing, and logistics.
Assist in generating reports related to inventory levels, order processing, andother supply chain metrics.
Support the vendor selection and evaluation process, including conductingresearch, gathering data, and analyzing supplier performance.
Build and maintain dashboards.
Provide operational support of the department and ad hoc activities

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education and Basic Qualifications

Junior, Senior or Masters student studying in a related field (i.e. Supply Chain, Finance,Economics, Engineering)
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
A practical and proactive problem-solver.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and leadership skills.
Attention to detail
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
