The Senior Market Operations Specialist will manage the options trading operations on the IEX platform, focusing on trade capture, order routing, settlement, data quality, and risk controls. You will partner with trading desks, market data teams, compliance, and engineering to optimize processes, reduce latency, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate regulatory reporting.

Role Overview

Drive the operational lifecycle of options trading on the IEX platform, ensuring efficient, compliant, and scalable market operations. Collaborate across teams to implement process improvements and maintain high standards of data integrity and risk management.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage options market operations to ensure accurate trade capture, routing, and timely settlements.
Collaborate with trading desks, data vendors, risk management, and engineering to optimize operational processes and controls.
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), monitor KPIs, and support regulatory reporting.
Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies, outages, and data quality issues in a timely manner.
Support initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability of options operations.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in financial markets operations, with a focus on options.
Strong knowledge of options trading lifecycle, clearing, settlement, and regulatory requirements.
Experience with data analysis (SQL, Excel) and translating data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
