Information Security Analyst

IEX Group is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our security program in New York. This role focuses on protecting our systems and data by monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, collaborating with engineering and IT teams, and helping strengthen security controls across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools; investigate anomalies and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
• Coordinate incident response with IT, engineering, legal, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, track remediation, and verify fixes.
• Perform log analysis, threat hunting, and basic digital forensics as needed.
• Assist in developing security policies, standards, and runbooks; contribute to security awareness training.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and implement secure systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in information security or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (preferred).
• Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of network security concepts, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (Python, Bash).
• Experience with cloud security and IAM (AWS preferred).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
