We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our team at IDT Corporation. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will contribute to the Retail Billing team to help ensure the quality of one of the most important retailer services.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test cases and test scenarios for frontend and services using different testing tools

Ability to evaluate expected functionality against specifications / requirements

Ability to identify system bottlenecks with strong troubleshooting, problem solving & reasoning skills.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify the integration touch points and execute integration/end to end tests.

Work closely with developers to get features tested as part of a scrum team.

Proactive approach in developing test strategy and plans for features being implemented.

Ability to understand and contribute to automated tests in existing Java/C# based framework.

Support production releases and perform post release testing.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual testing (webUI and API) with knowledge of automation

Strong knowledge of testing methods such as regression, integration and end to end testing on QA/UAT environments

Exposure to database technologies such as Oracle, MongoDB (ability to query the DBs to validate fields)

Strong knowledge of API testing tools such as postman, swagger.

Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to check applications logs using monitoring tools, basic linux commands

UI or API automated testing using Java / C# BDD based or similar test frameworks

Exposure to CI/CD, AWS, docker containerization is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 level or higher)
