As a
Nonprofit Salesforce Consultant: Marketing Cloud Account EngagementSpecialist, your role will involve close collaboration with clients to offer expert implementation support, optimize systems, and provide ongoing managed services administration. You will lead the configuration and adoption or augmentation of Pardot for nonprofit organizations. This role focuses on design, data structure, integrations, UI/UX and system testing to support client business processes. This is a part-time contracted 1099 position.
How You’ll Contribute: Specialize in supporting Salesforce implementation projects through Marketing Cloud Account Engagement configurationEducate, guide, and empower clients in the Idealist WayTranslate non-profit business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage Marketing Cloud Account Engagement functionality, integrations and product ecosystemSet up, integrate, and customize Marketing Cloud Account Engagement to client specificationsSet up and customize marketing funnels, prospect segments, lead scoring/grading, nurture paths, and reporting, per client specificationsSupport the generation and implementation of test strategies to drive and convert qualified trafficEnhance Marketing Cloud Account Engagement usage through lead qualification and automation of business practiceBalance response times and approvals across multiple assignmentsPlan activities from requirements to solution design using prescribed project management tools and delivery methodologies to ensure continuity in communication and project qualityEscalate client or consultant capacity concerns to Client Success for resolution supportSuccessfully build and nurture long-term client relationshipsDesign and implement Salesforce solutions, to meet client needs, identify opportunities for business process and system alignment and optimizationFacilitate discovery, through user story collection, grooming, and prioritizationCustomization of new fields, objects, page layouts, workflow rules, list views, etc.Customization with Salesforce native objects such as campaigns, email templates, etc.Customization of user administration including user setup, permissions, sharing rules, etc.Fundamental AppExchange application installationSupport basic data migration within the data management capabilities of the Salesforce.com platformFundamental data migration within the data management capabilities of the Salesforce.com platformData hygiene upkeep including de-duplication, owner changes, address validation, etc.Report and dashboard development within Salesforce native functionalityFamiliarity with native integrations and the options available to deploy connectors and manage those processesFavor declarative functionality and architectural cohesion when solving assigned user storiesEnsure quality design through validation and user acceptance testingMaintain baseline data integrity, hygiene, and securityProvide documentation to support project team cohesion as well as client understanding and ownership of their systemFacilitate the selection and implement third-party solutions and applications as neededSupport ongoing system operations and user enablementAbility to log a case within the Salesforce platformFundamental data entry with detail section and related listsFundamental system analysis & project managementStay up to date on Salesforce best practice, ecosystem trends, and product releasesAdvise and train clients on product enhancements, new functionality, and adoption opportunitiesAlert Client Success of new opportunitiesProvide training and documentation for new and existing usersUser training within Salesforce standard functionality Your Background Includes: Baseline Expectation:3+ years Salesforce administration with strong declarative design skills and the ability to deliver customer-driven solutions3+ years Marketing Cloud Account Engagement administration or consultingMarketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist and Consultant certifications strongly preferredDemonstrated expertise in handling complex and customized Marketing Cloud Account Engagement implementations for nonprofitsExperience with UI related to Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and an advanced knowledge of flowsFamiliarity with nonprofit marketing strategyExcellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audienceAbility to engage in multiple projects at one timeCreative and analytical thinking with a passion for solving customer problems with software solutionsFamiliarity with project management technologyFamiliarity with Salesforce for the nonprofit sector and unique needs of nonprofits using Salesforce preferredExtra Credit:Multiple Salesforce certifications, including Salesforce Certified Nonprofit Cloud Consultant (NPC)Contractor hourly rates are set based on experience, certifications, and specialization. Idealist Consulting reviews all contractor rate bands at least once annually. Independent contractors define their own availability and capacity. Contractors are not employees of Idealist Consulting and are therefore not eligible for benefits such as healthcare coverage and paid time off.
