Overview:

The Sales Director will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the

S

ales

T

eam

, ensuring that goals are met through effective pipeline management, coaching, and accountability.

This individual will directly manage Commercial

& Public

Sector

sales reps, holding regular 1:1s to provide feedback, coaching, and development support, and ensuring clear alignment between leadership and individual contributors. They will also partner closely with the CRO to translate strategic

objectives

into execution, and with the Head of People to ensure

strong performance

management practices are applied across the team, reinforcing

Hypori’s

culture of accountability and growth.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Team Leadership & Coaching

 

  • Directly manage a team of

    S

    ales reps, holding structured 1:1s to provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.

     

  • Mentor and develop team members, driving achievement through accountability, support, and career development opportunities.

     

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, achievement, and continuous learning.

     

Pipeline & Revenue Management

 

  • Oversee daily sales operations, ensuring healthy pipeline development and progression.

     

  • Partner with the CRO on forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline analysis.

     

  • Support reps in advancing deals by

    providing

    strategic guidance, executive sponsorship, and resource alignment.

     

  • Ensure that sales

    methodology

    processes, solutions, and tools are used for

    optimal

    results

     

Performance Management

 

  • Partner with the Head of People to apply consistent performance management practices, including goal setting, progress tracking, and structured reviews.

     

  • Provide

    timely

    feedback and address underperformance quickly and constructively.

     

  • Champion recognition of

    strong performance

    and build career pathways for top talent.

     

Strategic Alignment

 

  • Act as intermediary between the CRO and the

    S

    ales

    T

    eam, ensuring top-down strategy translates into clear direction and measurable execution.

     

  • Provide feedback from the field to inform product, marketing, and go-to-market strategies.

     

Sales Excellence

 

  • Lead by example as a strong seller,

    demonstrating

    best practices in prospecting, relationship management, and deal execution.

     

  • Drive adoption of sales methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.

     

Qualifications:

 

  • 8+ years of experience in

    S

    ales, with at least

    5

    years in a leadership role managing a

    Commercial

    S

    ales

    T

    eam.

    Public Sector experience is a plus.

     

  • Demonstrated success managing reps directly, including running regular 1:1s and coaching for performance improvement.

     

  • Demonstrated effec

    tiveness as a speaker

    representing

    Hypori’s

    interests in a formal and informal capacity. 

     

  • Proven success in both individual quota attainment and people management.

     

  • Strong pipeline management skills, with

    a track record

    of

    accurate

    forecasting and consistent delivery against targets.

     

  • Experience implementing performance management practices in partnership with People functions.

     

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence across all levels.

     

  • Experience working closely with executives and cross-functional stakeholders.

     

  • Flexibility for both domestic and international travel

    (up to 50%

    ).

     

  • High integrity, resilience, and a collaborative mindset.
