HVAC Service Technician

📋 Description

• Plan, install, maintain, and test HVAC systems in homes and small commercial sites.
• Install/repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, ductwork, thermostats.
• Read blueprints, mechanical plans, wiring diagrams, and HVAC docs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, specs, and industry best practices.
• Diagnose HVAC issues and complete jobs with minimal supervision.
• Communicate with customers and colleagues on scope, timelines, costs.

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed HVAC Technician in Connecticut or equivalent state certifications.
• EPA 608 Certification (required).
• Minimum 5 years residential and light commercial HVAC service experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, codes, refrigeration principles, and safe practices.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Proficient with mobile work order apps, time tracking, and basic inventory management.
