HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technician

📋 Description

• Perform routine HVAC maintenance on rooftop units, split systems, boilers, and chillers.
• Clean coils, replace belts/filters, check refrigerant, lubricate motors.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Communicate findings and recommendations with clients and team.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and conditions.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting to identify issues early.
• Report findings to service teams or customers.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC cert preferred.
• 1+ year of experience.
• Strong HVAC, electrical, and mechanical knowledge.
• EPA 608 certification (required).
• Ability to read and interpret technical docs and blueprints.
• Strong communication and customer service.
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel to job sites.
