HVAC Maintenance Tech

📋 Description

• Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment incl. RTUs, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep systems efficient and extend life.
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across HVAC platforms.
• Replace or repair motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.
• Keep clients and team informed on service findings and next steps.
• Maintain thorough service records of work, parts used, and conditions.
• Ensure work complies with safety standards, codes, and company policy.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical training or certification preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in a commercial HVAC service role.
• Hands-on experience with RTUs, VRV/VRF, VAV, split systems, chillers, boilers, and AHUs.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communicator with solid customer service instincts.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
• NATE certification or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience with digital service tools or mobile work order platforms (preferred).
