- Own fluid/HVAC components across campus – compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, valves.
- Perform CAD modeling and design of HVAC fluid systems.
- Conduct fluid analyses for pressure balance, design allowable, and consumables.
- Collaborate with production, avionics, GNC and mission ops to meet requirements.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable; coordinate with production for smooth transitions.
- Material selection, sizing and procurement support.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 1+ year experience with fluids components (valves, pumps, transducers, sensors).
- Master’s degree in engineering (preferred).
- Experience with NX or CAD packages with GD&T (ASME Y14.5-1994).
- Experience with data acquisition equipment and test instrumentation.
- Willing to work extended hours and/or weekends.
