ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Associate, Investor Relations, supporting both Hut 8 and American Bitcoin, you’ll be at the intersection of institutional-grade Bitcoin infrastructure and public market strategy. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Corporate Strategy, you’ll help craft the investment narrative for two pioneering brands: Hut 8, one of North America’s largest and most innovative digital infrastructure platforms; and American Bitcoin, a bold new force building America’s Bitcoin backbone — powered by industrial-scale mining, disciplined capital strategy, and a mission to reshape decentralized finance from the ground up.

This role combines the analytical rigor of investment banking with the strategic edge of top-tier consulting. You’ll lead high-impact analysis, decode market signals, and shape the story we tell across Wall Street, institutional investors, and the broader capital markets ecosystem.

Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:

Strategic Financial & Market Intelligence

• Deep-dive analysis of financial performance, valuation drivers, and shareholder value creation for both Hut 8 and American Bitcoin.
• Analyze public comps and sector trends across Bitcoin mining, data center infrastructure, and renewable energy to inform positioning.
• Track market sentiment, investor flows, and stock performance to anticipate and shape investor behavior.

Storytelling Through Data

• Create compelling, insight-rich materials — investor decks, talking points, earnings call scripts — that tell our story with clarity, precision, and punch.
• Translate complex financials and crypto fundamentals into narratives that resonate with analysts, institutions, and the media.

Capital Markets & Shareholder Strategy

• Support executive leadership with investor targeting strategies, market feedback, and preparation for earnings calls, roadshows, and conferences.
• Map and analyze investor ownership trends, including the rise of Bitcoin-aligned capital and institutional engagement.

Thought Leadership & Competitive Intel

• Stay on the pulse of macro shifts — energy policy, regulatory evolution, Bitcoin cycles — and what they mean for Hut 8 and American Bitcoin.
• Synthesize insights into actionable strategies that help drive long-term capital market positioning and investor conviction.

IR Operations & Compliance

• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Comms teams to ensure investor materials and disclosures are accurate, timely, and SEC-compliant.
• Support the execution of investor events, board materials, and special projects tied to financing, M&A, or treasury strategy.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, equity research, corporate development, or a related strategic/financial role.
• Proven ability to develop and present complex financial and strategic analysis in a concise, actionable format.
• Experience with public company reporting, capital markets transactions, or investor communications is an asset.
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, and IR-specific platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methods, and capital markets dynamics.
• Confident communicator with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a natural ability to simplify and articulate complex ideas for varied audiences.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight timelines.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive, self-starting attitude and strong business judgment.
• A team player with high emotional intelligence and professionalism; able to work with discretion on sensitive and high-impact initiatives.
