Position Overview

The warehouse Person is responsible for the handling,packing and shipping of products in the distributionwarehouse. The individual is also responsible for performingthe necessary inventory transactions with use of handheldscanners.

What you'll do

General responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:1. The warehouse material handler is responsible for the selection, picking, and packingfunctions within the warehouse team.2. Use of inventory electronic scanners to accurately and timely scan all inventorymovements associated with product transfers.3. Creation, fulfillment, and closing of orders with quality and accuracy for each line time.4. Use and operation of forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers for daily job function5. Assist and maintain department 6s functions and activities6. Ensure all completed orders are properly staged, addressed, and secured or packagedfor delivery7. Assist in the receiving and dock shipping functions as needed including goods receipts,and freight loading processes.8. Learn, leverage and utilize SAP inventory and warehouse management system forinventory related issues9. May be required to perform other tasks such as bin replenishment, staging over flowvolume stock, and pulling stock transport orders.10. May be required to perform tasks outside the scope of normal operations, such asassembling racks, equipment upkeep, painting, etc.

1. A basic knowledge of the principles involved in general warehousing.2. A basic knowledge of the operation of forklifts,4-d’s, order pickers and other generalwarehouse equipment.
