Our stores (and online presence) are thriving, and we’re looking for a detail-driven, proactive Wholesale Accountant to help keep our financials in tune as we scale our wholesale operations.
The Wholesale Accountant is the backbone of our wholesale financial operations — ensuring accuracy in invoicing, revenue recognition, customer accounts, and reporting. You’ll work closely with the sales, logistics, and finance teams to ensure the wholesale side of the business runs smoothly and profitably.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Maintain and reconcile all wholesale customer accounts, payments, credits, and deductionsManage wholesale billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely deliveryReview and record wholesale sales, returns, and discounts in compliance with company policies and GAAPMonitoR and reconcile wholesale inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS)Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliationsCollaborate with the sales and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies in pricing, shipping, or returnsPrepare and analyze wholesale-related financial reports and KPIsAssist in audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controlsContinuously improve processes to make wholesale accounting faster, smarter, and cleaner WHAT YOU'LL HAVE: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of accounting experience (retail or wholesale industry experience preferred)Solid understanding of GAAP and wholesale revenue recognition principlesProficiency with ERP/accounting systems (Oracle Fusion preferred)Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data setsExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesA curious and critical mindset, able to challenge the status quoA genuine passion for retail and the ever-evolving customer landscape.
