We’re looking for an Associate Production Manager - BAGS to partner with our Director of Product Development in bringing music and pop culture inspired fashion to life. This role operates on a hybrid schedule and will require to work from our HQ located in the City of Industry, CA three days a week.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Help support the development & production process from design handoff to finished product - develop and source materials and trims; Track PP/TOP samples from factory and log in samples as they arriveCoordinate comments between the design and artists to prepare to send to the factoryKeep sample room organized and tidyManage logging testing reports & approvals in our PLM systemApply knowledge to resolve issues in development/production and qualityWork closely with the merchant & product development team to ensure vision of product is achieved during the sourcing & production process Work closely with the licensing team to submit and obtain licensor’s approvals/comments in a timely manner to ensure on time delivery; track approvals daily and logs approvals WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 3+ years product development experience in retail or wholesale working with overseas officesExperience working on licensed product a plus; Eagerness to learn Highly organized, detail oriented, strong time management skills and excellent communication skills – both written and verbalMeets deadlines, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, anticipates change and maintains composure under pressurePassion and knowledge of pop culture and the licenses that Hot Topic, Box Lunch and Her Universe haveTeam player – ability to adapt to a fast paced, ever-changing environment Compensation Please note the pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but other factors such as an individual’s education, location, meeting the minimum job requirements for the role, training, and experience, will determine the final salary for potential new hires.
