• Assist BAYADA staff with families of hospice patients.

• Provide walking companionship when safe.
• Support caregivers by staying with loved ones for breaks.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build a consistent connection with a patient; you control your schedule.
• Reliable and responsive communication with the Volunteer Coordinator via email.
• Willingness to complete administrative requirements, including timely submission of volunteer hours.
• Comfort interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Openness to supporting individuals and families navigating end-of-life.
