Overview
Hootsuite is seeking a Product Trainer to design, develop, and deliver training programs that help customers and internal teams maximize the value of the Hootsuite platform. This role collaborates with Product, Customer Success, and Sales to translate product updates into clear, actionable content. Location: Toronto, Ontario or Ottawa, Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging training sessions (virtual and in-person) for customers and internal teams.
- Create training materials including user guides, tutorials, quick-reference guides, and LMS content.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to stay current on product updates and roadmap.
- Assess training effectiveness through surveys, usage metrics, and feedback; iterate content accordingly.
- Deliver onboarding programs for new customers and provide ongoing enablement.
- Maintain and curate the knowledge base for customers and internal teams.
- Partner with Sales to drive product adoption across the Canadian market.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in product training, enablement, or related roles in SaaS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex features into clear guidance.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning content creation.
- Knowledge of SaaS products and Hootsuite’s platform is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple sessions and track training metrics.
