Part-Time Contractor Paralegal

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, US-based paralegal contractor to support our contracting workflow. The contractor will be responsible for redlining 20–25 customer contracts per day, including MSAs, SOWs, Order Forms, and related documents. This role requires fast turnaround times, strong attention to detail, and reliable responsiveness. The position is part-time at approximately 10-20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Review, mark up, and redline customer contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, Order Forms, and other commercial agreements.

• Ensure consistency across all contractual documents and reconcile conflicting clauses when necessary.

• Use track-changes or redline editing tools to provide clear comments and revisions.

• Identify and flag legal or commercial risks, non-standard terms, and ambiguous language for internal review.

• Maintain accurate version control and organize contract drafts for auditability.

• Respond quickly to urgent requests and deliver redlines within tight turnaround windows.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States (on-shore).

• Prior experience as a paralegal or contract reviewer, with hands-on work redlining MSAs, SOWs, and Order Forms.

• Strong understanding of software commercial contract structures and standard clauses.

• High attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.

• Ability to manage a high daily contract volume (10–15 documents per day).

• Fast responsiveness and reliable availability during periods of high activity.

• Comfort working as a part-time contractor with fluctuating workloads.

Time Commitment

• Approximately 10–20 hours per week

• Expected throughput: 10–15 contracts daily when engaged

• Remote work permitted, but candidate must be located in the U.S.

Compensation

• US$60–70 per hour, depending on experience.
