Overview

HiveMQ is seeking a Solutions Engineer (DACH) to join our remote team. You will work with customers in the DACH region to demonstrate HiveMQ’s MQTT platform, design scalable architectures, and drive technical engagements that translate into successful deployments.

Your responsibilities

Deliver technical demonstrations of HiveMQ's MQTT-based platform to prospects and customers in the DACH region.
Architect and propose integration patterns that align with customer requirements and scale across environments.
Collaborate with the Sales team to qualify opportunities, respond to RFPs, and support proof-of-concepts (POCs).
Provide technical guidance during evaluations and assist with deployment planning and success.
Relay customer feedback to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and best practices.

What we look for

Experience in presales engineering, solutions architecture, or field engineering in IoT environments.
Strong knowledge of MQTT, IoT architectures, cloud platforms, and integration patterns.
Proficiency with Java or related technologies common in HiveMQ ecosystems.
Excellent communication skills in German and English; able to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to travel within the DACH region as needed.
