Role overview
HiveMQ is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our remote sales team. In this role, you will drive outbound and inbound prospecting to generate qualified opportunities for our MQTT-based enterprise messaging platform, partnering with Account Executives to advance the sales cycle.
What you\'ll do
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities in North America.
- Execute outbound email and phone outreach, plus LinkedIn outreach, to generate inbound interest.
- Schedule discovery calls and collaborate with Account Executives to move opportunities forward.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and track pipeline metrics.
- Collaborate with Marketing to optimize messaging and campaigns.
- Represent HiveMQ professionally in all communications with prospects and customers.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of B2B SaaS or tech sales, inside sales, or lead generation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with IoT or MQTT is a plus but not required.
