We're looking for a tech-forward Content & Activations Manager who combines strategic thought leadership with hands-on execution. This role goes beyond traditional social media management to include content strategy, event activations, authority building, and executive ghostwriting. You'll own the content ecosystem end-to-end, leveraging AI tools and new technologies to maximize efficiency and impact.
This role will be in-person in New York or Toronto and reports to our Head of Growth.
What you’ll do
Content strategy & creation
Multi-platform content production - Create engaging content for LinkedIn, Twitter, newsletters, website, and other mediums
AI-driven content creation - Leverage new tools and technologies for maximum efficiency and scale
Drive video content creation - take ownership of storytelling by proactively planning what to film, directing shoots, and capturing founders, customers, and the team in action
Social media management - Manage Highbeam brand channels as well as key executive channels to connect with customers
Ghost writing for leadership - Craft thought leadership content that builds authority and creates FOMO
Events & activations
Event content capture and creation - Document and amplify key moments from events, conferences, and company activities
Community building - Identify opportunities to bond with existing and prospect customers on a deep level
Podcast outreach and content clipping - Identify opportunities and create derivative content from podcast appearances
Strategic projects
Project management - Coordinate content initiatives from conception to completion
Brand narrative management - Ensure our stories resonate with customers and drive engagement
Authority building - Develop strategies to position our leadership as industry thought leaders
Skills and Qualifications
4+ years of relevant experience with demonstrated growth and promotion (similar to high-performing backgrounds at companies like Peloton)
Platform development experience - Evolution from social management to strategic platform building
Personal brand building - Built own social channels, meme pages, or content platforms
Exceptional writing skills - Must be able to ghost write effectively for executives
Video editing capabilities - Phone-level minimum
Storytelling - able to shape narratives that bring our brand, founders, and customers to life across video and other formats
Tech-forward mindset - Understanding of how to leverage new tools for efficiency and scale
Project management - Ability to coordinate complex, multi-faceted content initiatives
