HHAeXchange is looking for a sales professional with deep expertise in payroll solutions for the homecare industry. Reporting to the Vice President, Sales, the Vice President, Payroll Solutions is responsible for driving growth of HHAeXchange’s Payroll and HCM offerings through both new client acquisition and expansion within the existing customer base. This individual will carry a direct quota while also acting as a subject matter expert, partnering with Account Executives and Account Managers to increase payroll sales knowledge and support strategic opportunities. The VP, Payroll Solutions will collaborate closely with our Product and Technology teams to shape the payroll and HCM roadmap and ensure alignment with market needs.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in our New York City headquarters.

Essential Job Duties

  • Responsible for driving new business and expansion of payroll products, while meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly bookings targets
  • Ability to lead all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, sales, qualification, discovery, negotiation, and close
  • Maintain a high level of outbound lead generation through cold calling and strategic outreach with consistent ability to hit KPI metrics
  • Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers to drive payroll knowledge, support their prospect engagements and delivery of high-impact product demonstrations.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement and solution alignment.
  • Partner with Product and Technology teams to help shape the Payroll and HCM product roadmap.
  • Develop and deliver internal training programs to elevate payroll solution knowledge within the GTM organization.
  • Act as a strategic advisor on payroll market trends, product positioning, and competitive intelligence.

  • Travel 10%-25%, including overnight travel
  • Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills

  • 10+ years of experience selling and supporting payroll and HCM solutions, preferably within the homecare or healthcare services industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of payroll operations, compliance, and workforce management technology.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Product, Technology, and Customer Success.
  • Willingness to explore and adopt AI tools responsibly to enhance productivity and innovation in your role.
  • Additional Information

    The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $175,000-$200,000, not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
