About the role:

Are you a motivated and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment?

We’re looking for aPacking Supervisor to help keep our packing operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this key role, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the packing area, ensuring every order is completed accurately, safely, and on time. Working closely with the Packing Team Leader, you’ll coordinate the packers on shift, maintain workflow, and uphold our high standards of quality and safety.

This is a full-time, permanent role, based on site in our Leamington Spa warehouse. Shifts will be on 4 days on & 4 days off schedule.

What you'll be doing in the role:

• Assist in preparing and contributing to daily stand-up meetings to share updates, celebrate success, and reinforce team goals.
• Help coordinate training activities for new starters and temporary team members.
• Communicate clearly with teams to clarify duties and responsibilities.
• Identify and report any staffing, operational, or performance issues promptly to the Team Leader or Site Manager.
• Provide input and feedback to support 1-1 meetings and performance reviews, as requested by the Team Leader.
• Ensuring the on time dispatch of all packages while maintaining safety and cost control targets are met.
• Optimising the workspace and current workflow to maximise efficiency.
• Work to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with delivery service providers to optimise collection times and volumes.
• Support the team with productivity targets for staff and evaluate performance accordingly.
• Drive quality targets and strive for zero picking / dispatch errors.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and area readiness.
• Shift handovers to counterparts in the Team Leaders absence.
• Act as a keyholder responsible for the site lock-up and opening if the Team Leader is unavailable. (once probation is complete).

What you'll bring to the role:

• Previous Supervisor experience in a similar ecommerce environment.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and organise effectively.
• Able to thrive under deadlines and deliver results.
• Proficient in Excel for report creation and data-driven decision-making.
• Display strong leadership and team motivation abilities.
• Clear and concise communication, problem-solving and time management skills.
• An understanding of the business rationale and the ability to initiate and implement decisions that will achieve business goals and objectives.
