As Lead RWE Analyst, AI, you will serve as a key post-sale partner to HealthVerity’s life sciences clients, helping them successfully adopt and derive value from our AI-powered real-world data (RWD) analytics platform. You will combine your expertise in healthcare data with a deep understanding of RWE use cases to guide client engagement, education, and troubleshooting. You’ll work hands-on with large, linked healthcare datasets to answer client questions, conduct data investigations, and support interpretation of AI-generated outputs. You will also serve as the voice of the customer, advising product development teams on how to optimize AI features for usability, trust, and relevance in real-world evidence (RWE) workflows.
What you will do
- Act as a subject matter expert in RWD and RWE analytics for clients leveraging HealthVerity’s AI-powered platform, HealthVerity eXOs
- Perform human-in-the-loop (HITL) reviews of client-generated analyses using the HealthVerity eXOs platform
- Lead data investigations using claims, EMR, and other data types to assess feasibility, uncover insights, and triage product-related issues
- Conduct client trainings and develop onboarding resources to foster meaningful engagement with AI-generated outputs
- Support client success in core RWE use cases such as:
- Incidence and prevalence estimation
- Cohort exploration and study design
- Comparative effectiveness and line-of-therapy analyses
- Help clients build trust in AI outputs through thoughtful communication, context-setting, and method interpretation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams to relay client feedback, validate feature usability, and support roadmap planning
- Standardize analytic guidance and maintain documentation to scale product engagement and internal knowledge
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor peers across the DI&A team

Required skills and experience
- Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Clinical Informatics, or a related field
- 6+ years of hands-on experience analyzing large-scale healthcare data (e.g., claims, EMR, labs)
- 4+ years of client-facing experience in analytics, consulting, or product support roles
- Proficient in both SQL and Python, with demonstrated experience querying and analyzing large datasets
- Deep understanding of codified healthcare standards (ICD, CPT, LOINC, etc.) and real-world data analytics best practices
- Proven ability to guide technical and non-technical audiences through AI-driven outputs and methodologies
- Familiarity with RWE applications and stakeholder needs in pharma, including HEOR, medical affairs, RWE, commercial, and clinical development
Desired skills and experience
- Experience supporting or enabling analytics SaaS or AI-driven tools
- Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and how they can support healthcare research
- Strong communicator and educator, skilled at distilling technical concepts into actionable guidance
- Highly organized and comfortable operating in ambiguity and change
- Committed to knowledge-sharing, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement
Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $130,000 - 190,000 + annual bonus opportunity.
Hiring Locations
Our main office is located in Center City, Philadelphia, where we operate on a hybrid model with in-office work required three days a week for local employees. We believe collaboration is most effective when teams come together, which is why we prioritize hiring in the Philadelphia area.
For certain roles, we also hire from hub locations—regions where we have an established presence with multiple team members working remotely. While these employees primarily work from home, we bring them together in person at lease once a year for team-building, collaboration, and strategic planning.
Due to tax and labor regulations, we can only hire from specific states. Remote work is supported in the following key hub locations and approved states:
