Head of Observability

📋 Description

• Define and execute observability strategy across logging, metrics, tracing, alerts, profiling
• Evolve the stack architecture toward a single-pane-of-glass platform
• Establish SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and capacity planning for reliability
• Own the customer-facing observability experience (dashboards, logs, metrics, alerts)
• Build and lead a world-class observability engineering team
• Collaborate with all engineering teams to instrument services with OpenTelemetry

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years engineering experience, 3+ years leading teams
• Built or operated observability platform at scale
• Deep expertise in logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, dashboards
• Hands-on with Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, ClickHouse, OpenTelemetry
• Observability as a product; focus on developer experience
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable in remote-first environments
