Lead external engagement with regional think tanks, research bodies, industry groups.
Coordinate with APAC regional team to align with OpenAI's security strategy.
Track and shape AI policy developments in defense, dual-use tech, and export controls.
Draft policy briefs, memos, and government responses on AI's security implications.

🎯 Requirements

Politically astute with deep understanding of Indo-Pacific security dynamics.
Established network of senior officials, multilateral bodies, civil society in policy.
Excellent communication and diplomatic skills to represent OpenAI publicly.
10+ years in APAC/Indo-Pacific security contexts.
English plus another major regional language is a plus.
Familiarity with emerging tech issues, especially dual-use AI and cybersecurity.
