Head of Litigation

📋 Description

• Lead and own the firm's litigation portfolio across IP, securities, and contracts.
• Build the litigation infrastructure and relationships to scale the function.
• Manage outside counsel with accountability, quality, and budget discipline.
• Advise leadership on material litigation exposure and disclosures.
• Interface with government agencies and regulators as needed.
• Lead internal investigations and coordinate with the Board.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
• Significant litigation experience in life sciences or regulated industry.
• Familiarity with patent/IP litigation in pharma, Hatch-Waxman, and PTAB.
• Experience managing complex litigation in life sciences, including securities or shareholder disputes.
• Leading or coordinating government investigations or regulatory inquiries.
• Proven ability to manage outside counsel with strategic and financial discipline.
• Experience with litigation disclosure obligations at a publicly traded firm.
