📋 Description

• Provide strategic legal counsel to the board on compliance, privacy, IP, and contracts.
• Lead outside counsel management and internal legal team; drive governance and risk.
• Draft, negotiate, and oversee contracts; improve templates and processes.
• Advise on third-party due diligence, vendor contracts, and regulatory issues.
• Serve as corporate secretary; draft board minutes and resolutions.
• Support People Ops for compliance with labor laws and policy adoption.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar.
• 8+ years of progressive legal experience with leadership.
• Deep knowledge of corporate, contract, IP law, and compliance.
• Experience managing a legal team and external counsel.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and influence across org.
• Experience in mergers & acquisitions, litigation management, and risk assessment.
• Strategic mindset balancing legal with business goals; high ethics.
