📋 Description

• Manage daily legal function; advise on operational legal matters in business discussions.
• Own commercial contracting; in-house partner to Revenue; customer contracts, NDAs, DPAs, vendor agreements.
• Build contract playbooks, templates, and processes to speed closing.
• Guide data privacy and protection (GDPR, CCPA) to ensure compliance.
• Oversee corporate matters including equity, financings, governance, and entity management.
• Advise on employment matters, HR policies, and compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• 8–10+ years practicing law; experience at law firms and in-house at high-growth tech.
• Go-to lawyer on commercial deals; fast handling of high-volume B2B SaaS agreements.
• Business-minded; balance legal risk with commercial impact; path to yes.
• Built or improved legal processes: playbooks, templates, workflows.
• Comfortable owning broad remit as solo hire; handle multiple topics; know when to bring in outside counsel.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school; bar admission in jurisdiction.
