Head of Lab Execution Systems Engineering

📋 Description

• Manage a group of 2–3 engineering scrum teams; some direct reports.
• Translate strategy into quarterly plans with clear metrics.
• Define and execute a software engineering roadmap across teams with product/design input.
• Recruit, hire, onboard full-stack engineers and engineering managers; mentor.
• Build partnerships with stakeholders across engineering and other functions.
• Contribute to engineering-wide improvements as part of the leadership team.

🎯 Requirements

• 10–15 years in software engineering and management.
• 5+ years in SaaS or high-tech software.
• 5+ years in engineering management; 3+ years indirectly managing teams.
• Experience driving multi-quarter roadmaps to completion.
• Experience building/deploying cloud-based web apps (front- and back-end).
• Familiarity with Jira and observability tools.
