Head of Global Payroll

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for 1,600 US & Canadian employees, including hourly with commissions and overtime
• Ensure payroll is accurate, compliant with federal, state, and international regulations
• Serve as Angi’s internal payroll subject matter expert across jurisdictions
• Manage and develop a payroll team of four; coordinate with providers in France, UK, Germany, and the Netherlands
• Support month-end close with payroll accruals and reconciliations
• Drive process improvements and automation to scale payroll operations

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of payroll experience, including leadership in a public company or complex environment
• Experience managing payroll for large populations with variable compensation
• Expertise in payroll equity awards across federal/state/foreign jurisdictions (taxation, withholding, reporting)
• Extensive UKG experience and strong knowledge of multi-state U.S. payroll; familiarity with Canadian/European payroll
• Proven ability to lead payroll teams and partner with Accounting, Finance, HR Benefits, and HRIS
• Strong internal controls mindset with SOX experience; detail-oriented and deadline-driven
