📋 Description

• Develop and execute EU advocacy strategies covering digital platforms, VAT, and product safety.
• Maintain direct relationships with EC, EP, Council, and Permanent Representations.
• Represent the company in industry associations and lead high-level meetings.
• Draft position papers, consultation responses, and amendments to influence policy.
• Anticipate regulatory risks and provide briefings and mitigation plans to senior leadership.
• Translate EU regulatory developments into clear business impact analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in EU public policy or government relations within tech or e-commerce.
• Direct experience working within or closely with EU institutions and processes.
• Proven ability to operate independently and influence legislative outcomes at a senior level.
• Deep Brussels network with credibility across the EC, EP, and Council.
• Strong political judgment and the ability to translate policy into strategic business advice.
• Excellent drafting and analytical capabilities with executive presence.
