- Build the internal disputes playbook: policies, SOPs, decision trees
- Handle complex disputes directly β fraud, chargebacks, billing errors per Reg E/Z
- Partner with Fraud, Compliance, and Engineering to improve tooling and automation
- Monitor chargeback ratios and escalate trends to leadership
π― Requirements
- 5+ years in credit card disputes, chargebacks, or related function
- Deep knowledge of Reg E, Reg Z, and dispute rules; ownership of compliance
- Experience overseeing or partnering with BPO disputes operations
- Strong analytical skills; pull data, identify patterns, and translate into recommendations
- Comfortable cross-functional with Compliance, Fraud, Eng, and external banking partners
- San Francisco-based and in-office 5 days a week
