• Define the DS roadmap aligned with business priorities
• Shift DS from reactive to proactive; identify opportunities
• Build DS credibility with leadership; make DS visible
• Partner with Product, Engineering & Commercial to embed DS in decisions
• Ship ML products with measurable business impact
• Establish experimentation discipline: A/B testing, causal inference

🎯 Requirements

• 4-5 years in data science, ML engineering, or related fields
• 3+ years directly managing and growing DS teams
• Track record of building a DS function that delivers business value
• Shipped ML models to production at scale with real outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management; able to influence C-suite and product leaders
• Technical depth to evaluate architecture decisions and trade-offs
