📋 Description

• Own rack, cluster, and system architecture standards for new OpenAI compute platforms.
• Define readiness criteria for production-bound systems.
• Stay engaged through validation until configurations are repeatable.
• Manage vendor relationships to define overall rack and system roadmaps.
• Partner with industrial compute and partner teams to clarify requirements.
• Lead engineering leads to define, test, and stabilize future compute platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• Hyperscale data center experience (or equivalent).
• Deep rack, system, or network architecture expertise.
• Performance and TCO modeling with business risk tradeoffs.
• Delivery of complex hardware from start to production-ready state.
• Vendor management for rack/system issues and roadmaps.
• Excellent management and leadership skills.
