- Define underwriting frameworks, guardrails, and risk appetite
- Lead portfolio management: monitor performance, losses, stress tests
- Incorporate macro signals into forward-looking strategy; balance growth and risk
- Partner with Product/Marketing on design and launch of credit products
- Build and mentor a high-performing credit team; present to executives
🎯 Requirements
- 7+ years in retail/consumer lending in credit, risk, or underwriting
- Ownership of credit strategy and portfolio performance for scaled lending
- Experience using alternative data for underwriting (non-FICO); bank data a plus
- Experience with data science and ML; collaboration on model deployment
- Solid understanding of modeling/ML methods (regression, classification, forecasting)
- Comfort writing/reviewing code (SQL, Python)
