Hardware/ Software Co-Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Deliver micro-architecture and RTL implementation of digital IPs and systems for high-throughput, low-power DSP and hardware accelerators.
• Experience in micro-architecture for low-power processors, on-chip buses, AI/ML accelerators, and PHY/MAC.
• Design and optimization of hardware/software interfaces with firmware engineers.
• Application-specific architecture optimization including energy/performance benchmarks, workload analysis, and profiling.
• Balance architectural trade-offs with process technology, workload type, and cost/performance in manufacturing.
• Collaborate on silicon bring-up tests with verification engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Evidence of exceptional ability in EE/CS/CE
• Experience designing and implementing embedded software in C or Rust
• Expertise in SystemVerilog, C/C++, Python
• Experience designing and implementing emulation models, transactors, and test environments to replicate hardware behavior
• Experience with architecture, microarchitecture, and RTL in complex digital systems using industry tools
• Experience designing DSP pipelines from algorithm to RTL
